From the constructive point of view, each door packaging stamping station is formed as an independent structure at a mechanical and electrical level, made of aluminum profile, equipped with height-adjustable legs, with two side access doors with safety microswitches and 6mm transparent polycarbonate perimeter protections on which the elements of the following process modules or functional units are arranged:

  • Working position 1 (WP1 = front door gasket):
    • One (1) set of safety light curtain (emitter, receiver, safety relay).
    • Two (2) side units, located on each side vertically, of LED lighting.
    • One (1) cycle start button.
    • One (1) emergency push button .
    • One (1) 5-color indicator light for process signaling and warning.
  • One (1) front door gasket die cut set:
    • Die cutting tooling plate.
    • Fourteen (14) die cut units.
    • Four (4) oscillating flanges.
    • One (1) scrap cutting unit.
  • Work position 2 (WP2 = rear door gasket):
    • One (1) set of safety light curtain (emitter, receiver, safety relay).
    • Two (2) side units, located on each side vertically, of LED lighting.
    • One (1) cycle start button.
    • One (1) emergency button.
    • One (1) 5-color indicator light for process signaling and warning.
    • One (1) rear door gasket die cut set:
    • Die cutting tooling plate.
    • Fourteen (14) die cut units.
    • Four (4) oscillating flanges

At the control and visualization level, the station is equipped with its corresponding controller (PLC) and display (HMI).

The operation of the system will be:

  1. Control connection
    The operator presses the control connection on the machine control panel
  2. Automatic mode
    The machine operator selects and adopts the automatic machine mode.
  3. Operator takes package with both hands and places it on punching too
  4. Operator removes both hands from the loading and unloading area and presses the cycle start button to start the die-cutting process.
  5. Lock and punch cylinders proceed to clamp and punch the package.
  6. After the die-cutting process is finished, the operator removes the packaging.
